Today, I articulate what it means to have Renaissance Energy and how You can obtain it.
Life is an Instrument that you get to Tune & Play
The human capacity to create and be great is like a stringed instrument that is either finely tuned or painfully dissonant.
No matter how skilled you are as a musician, you will fail to play harmonic melodies if the instrument you strum is not tuned properly. You also have to tune the human body and the environment, just like how you have to tune an instrument. By aligning internal rhythm with external action you can tap into the Renaissance frequency that energized people like da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello.
Below are the key terms behind Renaissance Energy:
1. Frequency
Definition: The rate at which something occurs or vibrates over a period of time.
Contextual Meaning: In life, frequency refers to the energetic rhythm or pattern at which you operate; your habits, thoughts, and emotions all carry a "vibe" or tempo that shapes your experience.
2. Resonance
Definition: The amplification or deepening of a sound or vibration when it matches another’s natural frequency.
Contextual Meaning: When your internal state harmonizes with your environment, actions, or relationships, you experience resonance, a sense of flow, ease, and meaningful connection.
3. Disharmony
Definition: A lack of harmony; conflict, imbalance, or mismatch between elements.
Contextual Meaning: Disharmony arises when your inner rhythm clashes with your external reality, such as forcing actions that don’t align with your values, or staying in environments that drain you.
4. Alignment
Definition: Proper positioning or agreement between parts to create harmony or function.
Contextual Meaning: Alignment is the state of congruence between who you are, what you do, and the way you live. It is the foundation for vibrational living and personal coherence.
Renaissance Frequency
You’re at your lowest frequency when you feel fatigued, irritable, or participate in procrastination and aimlessness. Without drive, purpose, and passion, you fall into the frequency of the environment around you, which for most is full of average people, with average days, and ugly architecture that strips beauty away.

How would you raise your frequency if your environment and group of peers are uninspired to do the same? Well, surround yourself with what inspires you and be selfish about it!
Be unapologetic about crafting an environment that energizes you, spend time by a rushing river, and take jogs through the woods. Take part in conversations that are uplifting and spend time with people who are interesting. Open your mind to the fact that you do not and will not ever know everything, and take this realization as an opportunity to cease judging and to start experiencing without preconceptions.
Read the great works of fiction and turn over a rock every now and then on your walks. Serendipity will only be your friend if you are spontaneous. Do things that you do not usually do for the sake of experiencing something new.
You can do a million different things to raise your energy, but you can also do a million things to lower your energy. In the end, frequency is important because it is the power that will attract ideas and circumstances into your reality, and a high frequency necessarily has a high correlation with high energy.

How to Start Creating More Than Consuming
Do you ever feel like you’re drowning in distractions, unable to surface for what truly matters?
Resonance - When Life Feels Effortless
Resonance Feels Like the flow state, coupled with synchronicity and motivation without force. It’s that feeling you have when you and the guest speaker are on the same page and your ability to download new knowledge feels effortless. We can also resonate with a piece of art we are working on or with a project at work, which puts us into the flow state.
We want to pay attention to these moments of resonance so that we can begin to understand what motivates and energizes us to get to a higher level. Resonance is just another word for connection; you connect to a piece of work, and it compels you to give it all you’ve got. The combination of these two is the equation for resonance.
How to Cultivate Resonance:
Identify when you feel “in the zone” & replicate those conditions.
Seek environments that match your aspirations (physical spaces, relationships, etc.).
Practice presence because resonance only happens in the now.

Disharmony - The Hidden Energy Drain
Examples of disharmony I have experienced are: consuming things that dull clarity, work that is misaligned with my overall mission in life, drinking with people I dislike, or engaging in relationships in spite of it being time to move on.
From these moments of disharmony, my body grows anxious and my mind restless to get back into alignment and experience the bliss of deep thought and work working together in tandem. I feel a sense of existential dread that bubbles up from the thought of wasting my life on pointless endeavors. Confusion crowds my mind and I can’t think straight, let alone find my way to a harmonic place. Experiencing days on end in a loop leaves me feeling chronically tired, and every action I take seems to drain me of all my energy.
I resolved this, not by avoiding the hard work, or the deep questions and sacrifices, but by embracing them. Allowing myself to fall into boredom was the first step to uncovering the layers of chaos and duties that I had so carelessly layered upon my life.
Renaissance energy comes naturally as a kid, but as you walk further into the world, it seems to get left behind. The birds cease to ignite a sense of wonder, and the sky turns into a dull blue.
I realized that the sky hadn’t changed, but it was me who had changed, and it was me who would have to change again.

Alignment – The Gateway to Vitality
Alignment creates feelings of peace, clarity, natural energy, and internal confidence in the direction you are going. The tailwind of alignment pushes you along, and you feel the energy you put in is reciprocated, creating a sum greater than the individual parts.
Being aligned is a superpower because it improves every part of your life. From how you deal with problems to enjoying time with friends and family, those who are aligned are experiencing life on a higher frequency, and their sacrifices are rewarded.

Closing Thought: Tune, Don’t Force
The process of raising your energetic frequency is a journey that will require your attention and willingness to make sacrifices. When properly aligned, your actions compound and create momentum. Progress may be difficult to see at the start, but as you create momentum and allow for it to compound over the years, it will no doubt result in a life of abundance, clarity, and alignment. You will glow with Renaissance energy, being a blessing to yourself and the world.
